Late October, 2020, we were approached and asked to tender on the supply of a brand new wave flume tank for use in a government hydraulics lab. The tank had a length of 42m and was required to be glazed along one side. Our team at EngiStruct undertook preliminary glazing design, which ensured that our tank would be safe to operate under any conditions. The solution we proposed involved creating seven 6m long tanks that would bolt together over a waterproof seal. It was our goal to minimise the time on site required to install the tank, which would ultimately save the client money.
